Oman Food Bank is a non-profit organisation working across the country to distribute food to those in need.

The partnership was officially signed by Thomas Grieser, managing Director of Oman Air Catering and Al Waleed Zahir Al Abri, Executive Director of Oman Food Bank, during a special event on World Food Day. As part of the airline’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme, the agreement outlines a series of initiatives to reduce and recycle food waste and provide food aid to those in need.

“We’re delighted to partner with Oman Food Bank to support its valuable work and address one of today’s most pressing issues – food waste. By taking proactive measures, both in the air and on the ground, we hope to inspire meaningful change, to promote sustainable business practices as well as having a positive impact in our community,” said Thomas Grieser.

“This partnership is a huge milestone for us, allowing us to extend our reach and make an even greater impact on communities in need. Through joint efforts, we can contribute to food security, provide much-needed aid, and raise awareness of the importance of responsible food consumption. We are grateful to Oman Air Catering in addressing this critical social issue,” added Al Waleed Zahir Al Abri.
