No pre-departure RT-PCR test for those headed to UK
Travellers from India will no longer require a negative report from a pre- departure RT-PCR test if travelling to the UK.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s official twitter said fully vaccinated adults and under 18s don’t need to take a re-departure test before entering England. From 4 am, January 9, fully vaccinated adults and children over five must take a post-arrival lateral flow test. A PCR is only required if they test positive.
From January 11 in England, people who receive a positive lateral flow test for Covid-19 won’t be required to test for Covid-19 won’t be required to take a confirmatory PCR test they should continue to self-isolate.”
