Jet Aviation Basel will be expanding its production operation in its completions centre, where it produce aircraft interior components and integrated systems for corporate and VIP aircraft interiors.

Expanding the production operation includes creating a 3,700 square metre facility used for finishing and integrating activities, and increasing it existing manufacturing capacity. The expansion will be completed in the first quarter of 2016.

“This production expansion builds upon our well-developed in-house capabilities and provides the added capacity required to continue delivering the highest quality products with the shortest lead times to our customers,” said Neil Snowdon, senior director of Production at the Jet Aviation Basel Completions Centre.

The plans for expansion also include investment in new equipment, including CNC machines and glue, spray and paint facilities.
