IndiGo looking to wet-lease B777 aircraft
IndiGo is seeking approval from India's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to wet-lease aircraft for up to 12 months.
The Indian carrier is looking to wet-lease B777 aircraft from Turkish Airlines for its Delhi-Istanbul service.
IndiGo said in a statement: "We are working closely with the authorities to ensure all the required steps to obtain the approvals are completed well in time and will consider the earliest the go-live date for these aircraft in line with the expected receipt of requisite approvals.”
