Indian Cabinet approves Etihad investment in Jet Airways
The Indian Government has given its approval for Etihad Airways to buy a 24% stake in Jet Airways - for around $330m - according to India's Aviation Minister Ajit Singh.

The deal has already been cleared by The Securities and Exchange Board of India and the Foreign Investment Promotion Board and it now just needs final approval from India's anti-trust regulator.
Once the deal gloes through Jet Airways will hold 51%, Etihad 24% and the public the other 25%.
