EgyptAir praised for landing safely at LHR during storm Eunice
The CEO of EgyptAir has praised the efficiency of the London flight captain in dealing with the repercussions of Storm ‘Eunice’ during landing at Heathrow Airport.

CEO Amr Aboul-Enein said the performance of pilot Walid Murad, the captain of EgyptAir’s Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner flight MS777, was ‘professional and skillful’ as he landed at London Heathrow Airport last Friday as Storm Eunice battered Britain.
Storm Eunice led to the inability of a large number flights to land at LHR and were diverted to other airports.
Al-Ainin said: “This situation is not new to EgyptAir as all pilots are characterised by high efficiency and professionalism in dealing with various emergency situations and circumstances and are internationally recognised for their efficiency and training at the highest level in facing bad weather conditions during take-off and landing.”
