Egypt Air - Update on situation for flights following uprisings
Egypt Air has asked passengers to check-in four hours ahead of departure and to monitor their flight status through the airline's website during the current situation in the Cairo and other Egyptian cities.

The airline said today that it has continued its normal operations and has been offering facilities to its customers during curfew times.
Capt Hossam Kamal, EgyptAir’s holding company chairman and CEO dsaid “During the last four days, EgyptAir has been operating the daily flights normally from Cairo Airport and the other Egyptian airports without any cancellations and with minor delays and that the Egyptian airspace is open for regular air traffic.”
He added “the no-show percentage hasn’t exceeded 10 % and the company exempts the customers from the change fees due to any traffic-related reasons.
Customers with reservations on flights after the curfew times can either come to the airport before the curfew time or they can pass through the check points using their passport and itinerary showing their departure or arrival flight.. The airline has also been providing beverages and meals for arriving passengers not able to reach their homes or hotels during the hours of the curfew.”
