Comair receives binding offer which will decide airline’s fate

South Africa’s Comair, which operates low cost airline Kulula, and as a British Airways franchise, has received a binding offer from preferred investors this week which is set to put the airline back in the skies later this year.

The South African airline went into voluntary business rescue in May after seeing revenues disappear and its business plan had been due for publication on August 28.

The plan will go to a vote by the airline’s creditors next month which will decide the airline’s fate.
