Cape Verde Airlines renews operating and safety certificate of flight

Serving international aviation standards, the Cabo Verde Airlines has renewed the certification of Operational safety audit (IOSA) of the international air transport Association (IATA) to the year 2019. This airline certification ensures the high standard of operational safety and international recognition. 

IOSA is an internationally recognised and accepted as certificate evaluation system for operational management and control systems of an airline. 

Currently, the Cabo Verde Airlines holds the main international aviation certificates signed by the FAA-Federal Aviation Administration and EASA-European Aviation Safety Agency.
 

"This IOSA certificate  is another milestone for our airline wich continues to maintain the international aviation standards. This certification is the success of our work, our operational team and of our pilots who do everything to take the Cape Verde Airlines at the highest level,” said Mario Chaves, CEO of Cabo Verde Airlines. 

Note that Cape Verde Airlines is in a phase of international expansion since August of 2017, under a management contract with Loftleidir/Icelandic, moving its operations between Islands (Praia to SAL), with a Hub & Spoke business model since 1st February 2018.

The airline company currently flies to seven destinations, in particular Brazil (Recife and Fortaleza), United States of America (Boston), Portugal (Lisbon), France (Paris) and Italy (Milan), putting the archipelago of Cape Verde in the Center as a liaison between the four continents – North America, South America, Africa and Europe, there by extending the airline market.
