Air France and Afrijet sign a commercial cooperation agreement

Through the agreement, scheduled to be implemented by the end of March 2024, the two companies aim to develop air traffic to/from Libreville airport, which is expected to become a hub for connections in Central Africa. The objective is to boost Gabon’s regional and international connectivity and improve the customer experience of both airlines.

Zoran Jelkic, general manager of Long Courrier Air France - KLM, said: "This represents a significant regional agreement for Air France. It will allow us to connect new Gabonese and regional destinations not currently served by Air France, such as Port-Gentil, Franceville, Bata or Sao Tomé, to our global network, while also strengthening our offer in regional destinations where we already operate. Furthermore, this agreement will provide our customers a better travel experience by allowing them to check their luggage from the departure point to the final destination, and enjoy an easier and faster transit at Libreville airport".

This long-awaited agreement with Air France will enable us to enhance a regional network that will soon cover the entire Gulf of Guinea.
