TATV INSIGHT: Royal Jordanian - the carrier's fleet strategy and new acquisitions.

Samer Majali, the chief executive and vice chairman of Jordan's national carrier Royal Jordanian, speaks frankly to TATV about the airline's challenges and the reasons behind its new investment in developing a third fleet to support its goal of being the carrier of the Levant.

In this in-depth TATV Insight programme - brought with the support of Embraer Commercial - Majali explains the thoughts behind the selection of Embraer's new E2 "Profit Hunter" regional jet family and the Airbus A320 family for the narrow body services.

He also explains why the airline selected the Pratt & Whitney GTF engine to power the news, mirroring the engines for the new regional jets.
