Cape Town’s International Airport was in crisis after a tanker carrying jet fuel for the airport was delayed by severe weather.
The Airports Company SA (ACSA) tried to conserve fuel stocks at the airport by reducing the amount that airlines were allowed to refuel. US carrier United Airlines cancelled one inbound and one outbound flight.
