Nova Air opens new Eritrean links

Eritrea's Minister of Tourism, Askalu Menkerios today inaugurated the launching of direct flights by Sudan's Nova Airways to and from Asmara-Khartoum-Juba, as well as Kassala city.

At the ceremony conducted at Asmara International Airport, Omar Mahjub, legal counsel of the airline, said the launching of such aviation service attests to the growing relations of partnership between Eritrea and the Republic of Sudan. He said the airline would shortly expand its flights to Cairo, Dubai and Jeddah cities respectively.
According to the provided schedule, Nova airways will fly Asmara-Khartoum twice a day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, while there will be one more weekly flight every Tuesday to Kassala city. The Asmara-Khartoum-Juba flight is scheduled on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Nova Airways has opened liaison offices in Asmara, Kassala, Khartoum and Juba in this connection.
