The company announced the a combination 32" HD LCD and Low Profile Motorized Lift. This product is available today. The two most unique features are the large High-Definition 1080p LCD and its small 23" height in the stowed position.

Kevin Iocovozzi, Gulfstream Program Manager for Flight Display Systems, was onboard for delivery with the G550 launch customer. "The screen was so big that it looked like a drive-in movie," said Iocovozzi. "The principal could not wait to lower all of the windows in the cabin and start watching his movie. He loved it."

Gulfstream Appleton installed the Flight Display Systems 32” LCD and Low Profile Motorized Lift (pn FD320LIFT-LP) in a G550. They have confirmed that other Gulfstream models will support a similar installation in a standard cabin credenza.  The installation was completed as a one time STC and may be performed by any Gulfstream Service Center or General Dynamics Aviation Services facility.  The FD320LIFT-LP is also an ideal retrofit product for installation in Bombardier Challenger, Global Express, Embraer Lineage, and other business aircraft.
