Swift Freight International LLC rebrands to Barloworld Logistics LLC in the Middle East
Dubai-based Swift Freight International LLC is to be rebranded following its acquisition by Barloworld Logistics, part of the South African Barloworld group, in 2008.
In line with its corporate brand strategy, the operations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will now be known as Barloworld Logistics LLC.
“Our strategic intent is to provide supply chain management solutions to medium and large corporate customers. Fundamentally, we want to demonstrate our capabilities in the supply chain management through our freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution offerings that we have acquired from Swift," commented Sean Bradley, managing director for the Barloworld Logistics Middle East operation.
"We want to give our existing and potential customers, the confidence that we are capable of providing integrated supply chain solutions to meet any of their needs in the market.”
Barloworld Logistics will continue to offer its customers and overseas partners freight management and services such as air freight, customs clearance and export documentation.
