Fly-SAX flight goes missing enroute to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport
Jomo Kenyatta International airport control tower in Nairobi, Kenya, today reported that it has lost contact with a caravan aircraft with a capacity of 12 passengers operated by East African Safari Air Express registration number 5Y CAC.
The aircraft departed from Kitale destined for Nairobi at 1605HRS carrying eight passengers and two crew.
The missing aircraft was reported at 17:20 and a search and rescue team was immediately mobilised by the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, Aircraft Accident Investigation Department and KWS.
At present East African Safari Air Express has no knowledge of the location or condition of the aircraft or its occupants.
